Internship Overview
Join Emoolar Technology Private Limited as a Backend Development Intern and contribute remotely with flexible working hours over a six-month period. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining server-side APIs, managing databases, integrating authentication mechanisms, and collaborating closely with frontend developers in an Agile environment. This opportunity is designed for Computer Science Engineering students who have relevant backend development skills and are ready to start between September 16 and October 21, 2026.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and server endpoints using Node.js with the Express.js framework.
- Design database schemas and craft efficient queries for databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, utilizing appropriate ORM/ODM tools like Mongoose, Sequelize, or Prisma.
- Implement authentication and authorization protocols, including JWT, OAuth, and bcrypt.
- Identify and resolve server-side performance bottlenecks, conduct debugging, and write unit and integration tests to maintain a stable codebase.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services seamlessly and participate in Agile code reviews.

- Should commit to the full six-month duration of the internship.
