About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in testing applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. The role focuses on ensuring software functionality, performance, and stability by executing manual test cases and thoroughly documenting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic testing of various applications to verify functionality, performance, and dependability.
- Manually run test cases and meticulously record test results.
- Detect, log, and monitor software defects utilizing bug tracking tools.
- Confirm bug resolutions and carry out regression testing prior to software releases.
- Develop and update comprehensive test plans, cases, and related documentation.
- Execute tests on functionality, usability, integration, and compatibility across multiple devices and browsers.
- Work collaboratively with developers, product teams, and designers to interpret requirements and solve issues.
- Take part in sprint planning, reviews, and overall quality assurance sessions.
- Ensure that applications align with business needs while providing a smooth user experience.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality indicators to the team.
- Recommend enhancements to improve product quality and testing procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available to work remotely.
- Internship start date should be between 23rd October 2026 and 27th November 2026.
- Commitment to a 3-month internship duration is required.
- Possess relevant skills and a strong interest in software testing.
- Preferably candidates pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
Additional Requirements
- Educational background should include computer science, IT, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of software testing concepts including SDLC/STLC and manual testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of web and mobile app testing, Agile workflows, and basic SQL is necessary.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- ISTQB certification or prior experience in QA/testing is advantageous.
