Internship Overview
This internship involves collaborating with the founder to develop an AI-driven SaaS platform targeting the jewellery retail sector. The product includes creating dashboards, interactive customer interfaces, and smart product functionalities. You'll engage in full-stack development using modern AI-enhanced tools, APIs, and frameworks like React/Next.js, Python, and Supabase.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building an AI-enabled SaaS product tailored for jewellery retailers, encompassing customer-facing tools and insightful dashboards.
- Implement and refine front-end and back-end features leveraging AI-assisted development and relevant technologies.
- Prototype AI-driven applications such as personalized jewellery recommendations, product matching, and image-centric jewellery analysis.
- Integrate AI and large language model APIs, experimenting with prompt engineering, structured data outputs, embeddings, and other AI workflows.
- Apply computer vision methods, including OpenCV or other vision AI models, for tasks like product recognition and classification using jewellery images.
- Design and build database schemas, user authentication systems, APIs, and dashboard workflows vital for the SaaS solution.
- Investigate emerging AI technologies and evaluate their practical application within the jewellery industry.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must be available to work remotely and start between August 31, 2026, and October 5, 2026.
- Commitment to a 3-month internship period is required.
- Preferred candidates are Computer Science Engineering students or recent graduates, particularly those studying Computer Science, Information Science, AI/ML, or related streams.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for utilizing AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor is highly favored.
- Capability to self-learn emerging technologies and translate innovative concepts into functional prototypes is essential.
- Experience through personal projects, hackathons, or contributions on GitHub is valued over formal certificates.
- Basic knowledge of databases, API design, frontend/backend programming, and version control with Git is expected; comprehensive expertise in all technologies is not necessary.
- Interest in startups, SaaS products, and addressing real-world industry challenges is considered a strong plus.
Compensation and Perks
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹15,000.
