About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in designing and implementing AI-driven automation solutions that enhance business workflows. The intern will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify repetitive or inefficient tasks suitable for automation, then develop scalable solutions that leverage Python programming, APIs, and large language models (LLMs). Responsibilities include creating multi-step agentic workflows that go beyond simple scripting, integrating these workflows with production systems like Azure DevOps, SQL databases, and internal APIs, as well as thoroughly testing and documenting the solutions for team usability. Additionally, the intern will communicate the impact of their automation efforts, focusing on tangible improvements in efficiency and business outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic proficiency in Python scripting, including data handling and API consumption.
- Strong analytical thinking to identify automation opportunities in existing processes.
- Keen interest in learning AI agent technologies, LLM APIs, and automation tools such as n8n without necessarily having prior professional experience.
- Ability to self-learn and experiment with new technologies while troubleshooting and resolving issues independently.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and web service communication fundamentals.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience or familiarity with no-code/low-code automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Make.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database queries.
- Understanding of version control systems, especially Git workflows.
