About the internship
About the Internship
The selected intern will engage in daily accounting tasks, supporting financial record-keeping and compliance within the organization. Responsibilities include managing accounting entries, maintaining vouchers and files, verifying bills, assisting with reconciliations across various accounts such as bank, project, staff, receivable, and payable transactions. The intern will also contribute to preparing monthly financial schedules and reports, help maintain and verify the fixed asset register, and compile documentation for audits, tax deductions at source (TDS), and statutory compliance. Confidentiality and adherence to organizational finance and safeguarding protocols are essential.

- Relevant skills and interest in accounting and finance functions are necessary.
Additional Requirements
Applicants with foundational knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are preferred. Experience through prior internships or exposure in non-governmental organizations is advantageous but not mandatory.
