About the Internship

This internship offers hands-on experience in various accounting roles within a fintech startup that leverages advanced technologies including cloud computing, machine learning, AI, and operations research to deliver analytics and research intelligence for the financial sector. As an intern, you will engage in daily financial record-keeping and contribute to financial reporting and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and manage daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, bills, and payment records efficiently.
• Create and maintain journal entries for financial tracking.
• Update and maintain general ledgers and accounting documentation.
• Support bookkeeping activities and reconcile accounts as needed.
• Assist in compiling Profit & Loss statements and other essential financial reports.
• Support payroll processing and relevant salary accounting entries.
• Help in bank and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Organize and maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Contribute to GST-related accounting, reconciliations, and filing procedures.
• Support Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and submission under guidance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather financial documents such as invoices and bills.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as directed by management.

Candidate Eligibility

• Applicants must be able to work remotely and commit to a 6-month internship.
• Availability to begin between September 24, 2026, and October 29, 2026, is required.
• Possession of relevant skills and a sincere interest in accounting and finance.
• Preferably students or recent graduates pursuing degrees such as B.Com or M.Com.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Motivation to gain practical experience in accounting, taxation, and financial operations.

Compensation Details

• The monthly stipend ranges between ₹14,000 and ₹20,000, consisting of a fixed pay component of ₹12,000 to ₹16,000 and incentives between ₹2,000 and ₹4,000.
