Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is a system of central government schools in India, established in 1963. It is governed by the Ministry of Education and aims to provide quality education to the children of transferable central government employees, including defense and paramilitary personnel. KVS is one of the world's largest chains of schools, with over 1,250 schools across India and three abroad.
