The Himachal Pradesh University Centre for Evening Studies was established in 1962 to provide continuing education to those who cannot study in day colleges. It is the first institution in the state to introduce M.A. classes in English and Hindi. The center is known for its accessible education for working professionals and entrepreneurs.
