About
Andhra Kesari University was established in 2022 and is named after Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, the first Chief Minister of Andhra State. The university is recognized by the UGC and aims to expand access to higher education in the Prakasam district. It was accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade in April 2002 and was the first general university in India to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2006.
