Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Some high school coursework completed.
  • Preferred experience in operations.
  • Compliance with local food safety regulations, including obtaining Food Handler certification at the applicant’s expense.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods (up to four hours), lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in hot, confined kitchen environments.
  • Capability to efficiently work in a fast-paced atmosphere with high noise levels and restricted workspace.
  • Competency in using kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability to dynamic, changing priorities.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills in challenging situations.

Additional Information

Employees should be able to reach over counter tops approximately 36 inches high to serve customers. The work environment may involve exposure to steam, food vapors, and limited storage space.
