Job Overview

The Senior Steward position entails providing excellent hospitality by managing guest interactions and ensuring smooth service within a lively environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive table service throughout their visit
• Accurately record food and beverage orders using POS/KOT systems
• Maintain proper sequence of food and beverage service, from seating to billing and farewell
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and ongoing promotions to assist guests
• Confidently recommend dishes and drive up-selling and suggestive selling efforts
• Collaborate with Captains, kitchen staff, and teammates to ensure timely and correct order delivery
• Address guest requests and minor concerns politely, escalating when necessary
• Perform mise-en-place, set, clear, and reset tables, as well as maintain service stations
• Adhere to restaurant grooming, hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Guide junior stewards during busy shifts and support opening and closing operations
  • Help keep the restaurant floor organized and ready to welcome guests

Candidate Profile

• Experienced as Senior Steward, Steward, or F&B Service Associate in restaurants, cafes, hotels, or F&B brands
• Sound understanding of table service and basic food and beverage operations
• Familiarity with POS/KOT systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and a friendly, guest-focused demeanor
• Neat and well-presented appearance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a keen interest in hospitality and teamwork
