Job Overview
This role requires skilled plastering work to be performed exclusively at physical job sites in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate will have the ability to apply and finish plaster surfaces with precision and will be involved in preparing and curing surfaces as well as decorative moulding.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply, level, and smooth plaster coats to surfaces
- Prepare work surfaces and ensure cleanliness before plastering
- Cure newly applied plaster surfaces properly
- Finish structural corners, angles, and execute decorative designs on final plaster layers where required
- Mix plaster materials to achieve the right consistency
- Fabricate and install ornamental plaster elements such as panels, cornices, and trims
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
- Regularly perform physical activities including bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Maintain hand-eye coordination to accurately complete tasks
