Inventory Controller (Warehouse)

Job Overview

Our client, a reputable warehouse and logistics company, is searching for a meticulous Inventory Controller experienced with forklift operation to contribute to efficient and precise warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and regulate stock movements within the warehouse utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Manage the receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of inventory with accuracy
• Operate a forklift to assist with loading, unloading, and organizing stock locations
• Carry out stocktaking activities to maintain precise inventory records
• Support overall warehouse workflows and order fulfillment operations
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks performed

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background as an Inventory Controller or in a comparable warehouse position
• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) and hands-on experience with forklift operation
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Exceptional attention to detail alongside strong organizational capabilities
• Capacity to perform effectively within a dynamic team setting

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of $36.25 plus applicable penalty rates
• Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; Friday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm (early finish)
• Superannuation contributions paid on all base hours
