Position Overview

The Instant Return Representative plays an integral role at our airport location team, acting as a brand ambassador dedicated to delivering a prompt, seamless, and valuable experience for customers returning rental vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by efficiently managing the vehicle return process in line with Hertz policies and standards.
• Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and effectiveness.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections upon return, document any new damages, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Collect fees for minor damages according to company guidelines.
• Enhance service quality by relaying customer feedback to the team and participating in improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and satisfaction.
• Comply with all internal company policies and procedures.
• Provide clear, courteous directions and assistance promptly.
• Apply customer service training to successfully resolve issues, ensuring customers leave with a positive impression.
• Offer additional services such as general guidance, assistance with luggage, and responding to special customer requests.
• Submit accident or incident reports as required and ensure appropriate charges for damages are processed upon rental closure.
• Pay particular attention to windshield damage and apply charges when necessary.
• Present and explain final invoices to customers in a polite manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
