Job description
Role Overview
Join IDEXX's growing team as a veterinary-focused field support representative based in Christchurch, responsible for covering regions across both the South Island and parts of the North Island. This role blends technical acumen, educational outreach, and relationship management to assist veterinary clinics in maximizing the benefits of IDEXX's diagnostic products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and provide ongoing support for IDEXX diagnostic devices and services within veterinary clinics.
- Deliver onboarding, training, and educational sessions tailored to veterinary clinic staff.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, guiding customers to optimal solutions.
- Foster and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with veterinary professionals and their teams.
- Collaborate closely with commercial departments and internal support to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Advocate for IDEXX's products and services to enhance client satisfaction, loyalty, and clinical success.
- Travel extensively, up to 85% within the assigned territory for on-site customer support.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses qualifications in Veterinary Nursing or a related scientific field.
- Experienced in the veterinary domain, ideally as a Senior Veterinary Nurse, Team Leader, Practice Manager, or similar veterinary leadership position.
- Exemplary communication skills, adaptable to various audiences both verbally and in written form.
- Effective in organization, prioritization, and managing time efficiently.
- Proficient in technical support and resolve customer troubleshooting challenges.
- Comfortable and skilled in conducting training and educational programs for diverse groups.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including researching complex issues.
- A team-oriented collaborator, adept at building strong internal and external partnerships.
- Knowledgeable about veterinary medicine, clinic operations, or diagnostic workflows.
- Willing and able to undertake substantial travel, often independently, across a wide geographic region.
- Holding a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent is considered advantageous.
