Job Summary

The Dishwasher role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas to ensure a smooth and safe culinary operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food remnants and rinse dishes manually or prepare them for automatic dishwashing machines ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following prescribed procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical treatments, buffing wheels, or hand polishing as applicable.
• Follow and uphold all safety guidelines and procedures within the kitchen environment.
• Manage and monitor temperatures and chemical concentrations according to specified standards.
• Keep dishwashing stations orderly and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces regularly.
• Dispose of trash properly by placing it in designated containers and cleaning garbage bins thoroughly.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and inventory.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements and Eligibility

• Previous experience in food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to execute the essential job functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours with varying shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Specific scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $13.00.
