Data Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

We seek a Data Infrastructure Engineer to join us full-time, dedicated to designing, developing, and preserving robust data pipelines and infrastructure. This position entails collaborating with various teams to deliver dependable data solutions that drive business insights and aid decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and maintain efficient data pipelines for large dataset extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Build and sustain data warehouses and data lakes supporting both analytical and operational reporting needs.
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to guarantee data availability and accuracy.
• Oversee performance of data pipelines, resolving any issues to maintain reliability and optimal operation.
• Document data architecture designs, workflows, and standards to facilitate team use and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Strong command of SQL along with experience in relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience utilizing ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse design methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure for managing data infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities focusing on scalability and system performance.
