Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Actively promote Walmart's sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection offers, and charitable initiatives.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and keeping the workstation clean and organized.
• Protect register security by diligently managing cash, complying with company policies, and remaining alert to surroundings.
• Refer relevant service or transaction issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40.
