About the internship

Boatload Minds works on smart beverage vending machines that combine hardware technology and IoT to deliver refreshments through automated systems. The internship offers hands-on exposure to product design and development in a hardware-focused environment.

What you will do

• Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Support the development of new product concepts and prototypes.
• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with correct GD&T specifications.
• Take part in prototype testing and product validation.
• Contribute to design improvements and cost-reduction efforts.
• Work with cross-functional teams during product development activities.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can join full-time in person, are available for a 3-month internship, and can start between 1st Jul'26 and 5th Aug'26. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the role and must be Mechanical Engineering students.

Additional requirements

• B.E. Mechanical Engineering, 2026 pass-out only.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic to intermediate working knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
