Role of Visual Merchandiser
As a Visual Merchandiser, you play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience by implementing and maintaining appealing visual displays that align with company standards. This involves expertise in merchandising techniques such as mannequin styling, fixture blocking, and in-store marketing elements.
Daily Responsibilities
- Plan visual merchandising workloads daily and weekly in alignment with sales goals and events.
- Conduct weekly visual inspections and collaborate with leadership to refine store presentations.
- Ensure the application of visual standards throughout the store to elevate overall appearance.
- Assist in executing the corporate visual merchandising strategy and in-store marketing initiatives.
- Set overhead lighting to emphasize key product areas.
- Identify and resolve merchandising challenges and update displays to maintain engagement.
- Lead team training on visual standards, signage, and affordability strategies through daily interactions.
- Organize backroom inventory and maintain signage tools and fixtures.
- Support onboarding and continuous skills development of team members through hands-on coaching.
- Foster inclusivity by embracing diverse viewpoints and ensuring respectful, equitable experiences.
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and promote a secure working environment.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and assisting guests effectively.

- Capable of leading and influencing others to adhere to merchandising standards.
- Comfortable using communication devices and handheld scanners.

- Capable of accessing all store areas, operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and work assist vehicles, handling merchandise safely, including lifting items up to 44 pounds occasionally.

- Physical stamina to remain mobile throughout a shift of varying lengths.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay starts between $25.75 and $27.75 and can increase up to $43.75 based on factors like local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
