About the Team
The Data Talent Acquisition (TA) Team plays a crucial role by supporting hiring needs across several strategic business segments. These include technical positions across ByteDance's varied product range, particularly emphasizing engineering, algorithm, machine learning, large language models (LLM), and AI-related roles, with a focus on TikTok. The team also facilitates recruitment for the BytePlus go-to-market group and the data center supply chain team, contributing significantly to both business expansion and infrastructure development.
Role Overview
In your capacity as a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will closely collaborate with technical teams and business leaders to comprehend evolving staffing needs and attract outstanding talent. Your efforts will be integral to assembling dynamic teams that foster innovation and promote sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR business partners, talent sourcers, and other stakeholders to understand hiring requirements, formulate recruitment strategies, and achieve recruitment goals within specified business units.
- Oversee and guide talent sourcing personnel by recruiting, training, motivating, and aligning their efforts with organizational priorities.
- Identify and reach out to high-caliber candidates using varied sourcing methods such as direct applications, employee referrals, talent mapping, and partnerships with external vendors.
- Ensure a superior candidate journey by managing a smooth, efficient recruitment process while maintaining consistent engagement with hiring stakeholders.
- Utilize data analytics, market trends, and internal AI recruitment tools to enhance hiring effectiveness, tackle recruitment challenges, and participate in strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
- Champion employer branding initiatives and foster strong cross-team collaboration supporting long-term business development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment.
- Strong interest in technology and AI, coupled with eagerness to stay updated on emerging trends.
- Highly motivated and resilient in dynamic, fast-moving environments, embracing challenges positively.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder relationship management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in leveraging data to track recruitment progress, identify issues, and provide data-driven insights.
- Demonstrates ownership and effective execution, utilizing available resources to deliver excellent results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in fast-growing, high-velocity organizations.
- Experience managing recruitment across multiple regions.
- Familiarity with the technology sector or recruiting for technical roles.
- Knowledge of AI-based hiring tools and data-informed recruitment practices.
