Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Fullstack Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of robust digital products and capabilities. This role requires developing front-end applications primarily with Vue 3 and TypeScript as well as backend services using Node.js and AWS Serverless technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design, development processes, and delivery of scalable web applications and backend services.
- Create modern user interfaces using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend APIs leveraging Node.js and AWS Serverless platforms.
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Develop efficient data storage solutions with DynamoDB and relational SQL databases.
- Make critical technology decisions and promote engineering standards and best practices.
- Guide and mentor engineering team members through comprehensive code reviews and technical advice.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, security measures, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Work closely with business partners to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in full-stack software development, including demonstrated leadership, architecture proprietorship, and mentoring skills.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks—preference for Vue.js, experience with React or Angular is acceptable.
- Proven hands-on experience deploying cloud-native applications using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and SQL databases.
- Comprehensive understanding of serverless/event-driven system architecture, REST API design, authentication and authorization, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments.
- Strong background in data modelling, database architecture, and query optimization.
- Experience working with AWS services including but not limited to SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Vue 3 Composition API, PostgreSQL/MySQL/Aurora, Playwright for testing, AWS Cognito or Microsoft Entra ID for identity management, third-party service integrations, DynamoDB-specific data modelling techniques, and modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Codex is advantageous.

This position is based in Singapore and requires onsite presence.
