Job Summary

The Inspector role involves conducting systematic inspections to verify parts conform to drawings, procedures, specifications, as well as statutory and regulatory standards. This position is responsible for managing the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plans aligned with both customer and Flowserve standards, including international guidelines. The Inspector oversees defining and controlling all project-related quality documentation and reports directly to the QC Supervisor or Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform documented dimensional and visual inspections against drawings and procedures.
• Record and manage non-conforming material through a Nonconformance Report (NCR) process.
• Review and verify the qualifications of suppliers, welders, and NDE personnel concerning welding and Non-Destructive Examination requirements.
• Assess and approve supplier manufacturing and testing documents and procedures, coordinating customer and regulatory approvals as necessary.
• Prepare and establish testing and inspection requirements, including ITPs and procurement specifications, for projects.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Understanding of welding processes, Non-Destructive Examination techniques, and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with applicable national and international quality standards, laws, and regulations.
• Proficient with inspection equipment commonly used in machining, assembly, and testing environments.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) considered advantageous.
• Demonstrates flexibility, eagerness to learn, accuracy, and analytical capabilities with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Commitment to operational excellence and maintaining high customer service standards.
• Minimum educational qualification of HS Diploma / GED with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
