Role Overview

The dishwasher at Gator’s Dockside plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the dishwashing station and waste disposal areas. This position operates under manager supervision and requires strict adherence to all organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean and sanitize food service items such as plates, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, prep equipment, and cutting tools using either a three-sink station or mechanical dishwasher.
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe/unsanitary conditions to management, including Kitchen Manager, Assistant Managers, or General Manager.
• Complete assigned cleaning and organizational projects within designated timelines and standards.
• Assist as a prep cook during slower periods, complying with preparation guidelines and retaining valid food safety certification.
• Support the upkeep of all shared areas of the restaurant, including restrooms, dining areas, kitchen floors, walls, shelving, sidewalks, and equipment like ice and soda machines.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times to uphold workplace health standards.
