Role Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of a single store. Your duties will include recruiting, supervising, and guiding team members to meet financial targets and maintain high-quality customer service. You will be responsible for the overall success of the store. To equip you for this role, Panda Express offers over three weeks of paid leadership training.

Required Qualifications and Conditions
- Minimum education: High school diploma
- Willingness to relocate to any store within 50 miles
- Availability for flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
- Current Serve Safe certification in food safety
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The position involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment where employees stand for prolonged periods (up to four hours), handle hot and cold foods, operate kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, and lift weights up to 50 pounds. Noise levels are typically high, storage space is limited, and agility is required to manage workspace constraints and customer interactions efficiently. Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt and manage conflicts in a dynamic environment are essential.
