Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately identify underground utilities including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
- Carry out meticulous searches of designated areas to mark utility locations precisely, document findings thoroughly, and take photographs of each locate performed.
Work Schedule and Conditions
The role involves daytime full-time shifts with a 48-hour turnaround on many utility locates. This requires availability for work following holidays and some weekends. Flexibility for overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call duties—including nights and weekends—is essential.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; previous outdoor work experience is advantageous.
- Comfortable with technology use.
- Available for overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts as necessary.
- Pass required drug screening for this safety-sensitive position.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of working in confined spaces and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to clearly distinguish colors used for wiring and utility marking.
- Competent in reading, interpreting, and referencing locate tickets, maps, and blueprints.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, contractors, and property owners.

Compensation
