Our solutions empower security teams to detect complex threats, conduct swift risk investigations, and automate responses at scale. We seek skilled engineers enthusiastic about leveraging modern AI-driven development tools to deliver fast, high-quality software with impactful results.
We are currently hiring a Software Engineer II to join our Critical Email Products (CEP) team within the Message Security Products (MSP) division based in Singapore. This team is instrumental in enabling enterprises to replace their outdated email security gateways (SEGs) by shipping key capabilities that drive feature parity, unlocking barriers for customers ready to transition. Responsibilities include developing and managing SEG features like URL Rewriting and Email Digest.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold backend services powering CEP's core product offerings.
- Create and refine event-driven data pipelines using technologies like Kafka and Airflow to process enterprise-scale email traffic reliably.
- Support deployments across multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and comply with FedRAMP requirements.
- Utilize AI-enhanced development tools to enhance solution exploration, output refinement, and accelerate reliable production delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to swiftly iterate features facilitating customers’ migration from legacy SEGs.
- Contribute to improving service reliability, system observability, and operational quality as the product ecosystem expands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in backend development using Python or Golang.
- Experience designing and scaling enterprise-grade applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of core computer science concepts including data structures and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-driven development assistance tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems including Kafka and SQS.
- Understanding of email transmission pipelines, email authentication protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF), and email security technologies.
- Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS systems and integrations with enterprise platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace APIs.
- Background in enhancing production system reliability, observability, and operational tooling.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity, especially email security or related compliance fields.
