Job description
Role Overview
The Security Officer will maintain a vigilant presence at the client site to ensure the safety and positive experience of customers and the public. Representing the company professionally, the officer will uphold the standards outlined in the Private Security Authority (PSA) code of conduct.
Primary Duties
- Maintain a visible security presence at retail locations to safeguard customers and the public.
- Adhere strictly to PSA professional conduct guidelines while representing the employer.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a current and valid PSA License is required.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to act independently.
- Experience operating CCTV systems competently.
- Ability to provide a clear and fully referenced work history spanning the past five years.
- Excellent communication abilities, including report writing.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as demanded by the company.
- Prior experience in retail security is essential.
- Availability for fully flexible scheduling.
