Role Overview and Key Duties

The Sales Engineer will generate sales enquiries primarily through direct customer visits, diligently track and update enquiries in the Sales Management System, coordinate with the pre-sales team to obtain costing information, and prepare competitive offers accordingly. They will actively follow up on submitted quotations, arrange customer meetings involving senior personnel as necessary, negotiate and finalize projects, and document lost orders in specified formats.

Additionally, this role involves preparing detailed visit reports, monitoring collection of sales and commercial payments, supporting the service team with on-site customer calls, and contributing to sales-related events such as exhibitions and seminars. The Sales Engineer is also responsible for monitoring competitor activities, maintaining all enquiry and offer documentation, regularly updating daily and weekly activity records, and ensuring CRM data within the SAP system is current on a weekly basis.

Eligibility and Education

Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any engineering specialization.
