Job Overview

As a Room Attendant, your primary role is to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within guest rooms and hotel public spaces to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all visitors. This includes thorough cleaning, maintenance, and addressing guest needs respectfully while following all health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, bathrooms, and shared areas.
• Prepare beds by changing linens and replenishing towels and amenities.
• Dust and polish various furniture, fixtures, and surfaces throughout the property.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floor types within assigned areas.
• Restock guest supplies, including toiletries, towels, and minibar products.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are sufficiently stocked and in good condition.
• Identify and report any damages, malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Check functionality of room appliances, lighting fixtures, and electronic devices.
• Offer polite, friendly service and promptly respond to guest inquiries or concerns.
• Follow hotel policies related to security and confidentiality of guest information.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related cleaning role is beneficial.
• Ability to operate independently without constant supervision.
• Close attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical endurance to manage tasks involving lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing.
• Effective communication abilities and a positive demeanor.
