Job Overview
We are looking for an accomplished PL/SQL Developer with a minimum of eight years of experience to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming, proficient in Oracle 12c/19c databases, and capable of turning complex business needs into efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and external tables.
- Optimize database performance and write high-performance queries to manage large volumes of data effectively.
- Create batch processing programs, database jobs, and generate reports in flat file and Excel formats using PL/SQL.
- Translate business requirements quickly and accurately into technical solutions.
- Ensure quality and timeliness in delivery of data extraction and database management tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 8 years of professional experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle 12c and Oracle 19c databases.
- Advanced understanding of SQL concepts and PL/SQL programming including package, procedure, and trigger development.
- Excellent skills in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience managing large-scale databases and complex batch processing jobs.
- Prior knowledge or experience in the airline revenue accounting domain is highly advantageous.

This is a contract position requiring on-site presence in Doha, Qatar. Candidates should be prepared to work with large datasets and deliver high-quality solutions under time constraints.
