Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team in Singapore. This position focuses on solution design with a particular emphasis on APIs and requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach with development and architecture teams, and a commitment to maintaining application integrity and minimizing technical debt throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute hands-on design of APIs, ensuring adoption of best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) within an enterprise environment.
• Promote a culture of CI/CD and support related cultural transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to enable success through the integration of CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
• Shape and design solutions in alignment with the established technology roadmap.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in software development and solution design using Java and J2EE technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of APIs and microservices design patterns.
• Technical domain expertise, including familiarity with relevant business domains, technology tools, or vendor software packages.
• Proven experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Capability to assess, adopt, and implement new technologies and processes effectively.
• Possess an open mindset with demonstrated ability to innovate and influence positively within teams.
