Internal Medicine Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and committed Internal Medicine Specialist to become a part of our medical team. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse array of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients, ensuring high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform thorough consultations and physical exams to assess patients' health status.
• Diagnose various internal medicine illnesses and manage treatment plans accordingly.
• Customize treatment strategies based on individual patient needs and medical histories.
• Track patient progress and modify therapies as necessary.
• Order and evaluate laboratory tests, radiologic studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Deliver preventive medical advice and guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals including specialists and nursing staff for comprehensive patient management.
• Manage long-term medical conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
• Respond effectively to urgent and complex medical scenarios.
• Adhere strictly to healthcare regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• M.B.B.S. or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or specialist qualification in Internal Medicine.
• Valid licensing or eligibility to practice medicine within the UAE.
• Demonstrable clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
• Strong skills in clinical diagnosis and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with patients as well as multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare environment.
