Role Summary

We are seeking a committed Delivery Rider to join our team full-time onsite in Pune City. This role involves collecting parcels from designated hubs and ensuring their secure and timely delivery within assigned regions. Responsibilities include route planning, confirming order accuracy, managing payments (cash or digital), and acquiring delivery acknowledgments. The rider must comply with traffic norms and safety guidelines, upkeep the delivery vehicle, and utilize mobile or handheld technology to monitor delivery progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Verify order details and handle payment transactions securely.
• Maintain communication with customers to provide courteous service and resolve simple delivery-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with supervisors or support teams regarding any delivery delays, issues, or returns.
• Ensure adherence to traffic laws and safety standards during delivery operations.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition.
• Utilize mobile applications for tracking and updating delivery status in real time.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and peak periods as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driving license with the capability to safely operate a two-wheeler or similar delivery vehicle.
• Familiarity with local Pune City routes.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, navigation tools, and delivery tracking platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple parcel deliveries effectively.
• Good communication skills for positive customer interaction.
• Physical fitness to sustain long riding hours, and manage lifting and carrying packages of varied weights.
• Trustworthy and responsible in handling cash on delivery, digital payments, and safeguarding customer data.
• Education minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in delivery or logistics roles is advantageous.
