Civil Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer who will manage the entire process of construction projects from initial planning and quantity estimation to final execution. This role involves an in-depth analysis of drawings and project specifications to accurately estimate quantities of essential construction materials such as concrete, steel, brickwork, plaster, and flooring.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze construction drawings and project requirements comprehensively.
• Evaluate and calculate quantities of various civil materials needed for construction.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed project cost estimates.
• Plan and organize stepwise execution of construction activities.
• Recommend suitable materials that balance quality and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure smooth progress.
• Monitor construction site activities to uphold quality and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of material consumption and reconciliation.
• Conduct site measurements and compute actual quantities executed.
• Identify scope variations and any additional work requirements.
• Prepare and verify invoices and bills for contractors, vendors, and clients.

Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in civil construction principles and practices.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying, estimation, billing, and rate analysis.
• Well-versed in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent site coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
