Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Electrician to join our Engineering team at our Cannon Hill, Queensland site. This hands-on position involves utilizing your technical expertise to maintain efficient operation of our automation systems and promote ongoing enhancements throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in PLC and electrical control systems.
• Maintain and support Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA platforms.
• Identify and repair complex automation and electrical issues.
• Manage and upkeep instrumentation and control hardware.
• Assist in automation upgrades and facilitate improvement projects.
• Collaborate with various departments including Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Safety to enhance system reliability and plant output.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Electrician with proven experience in industrial automation or manufacturing settings, exhibiting a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Queensland Electrical Licence.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Experience operating Ignition SCADA systems.
• Strong skills in diagnosing PLC faults and troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of industrial instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and capability to resolve technical challenges.
