Activities Assistant

Role Overview

Our Eversley Village located in Hastings is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join our committed team and contribute positively to our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Diversional Therapist to design and execute engaging and diverse activity programs tailored for our residents.
• Recognise and appreciate the individual needs and capabilities of residents, encouraging their involvement in various activities.
• Adhere strictly to organisational policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for all residents.

Requirements

• Demonstrated prior experience in arranging and managing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills paired with genuine empathy towards elderly individuals.
• Strong communication abilities and proficiency with IT tools.
• An energetic and lively demeanor to motivate others.
• Valid New Zealand driver's license.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks flexibly.
• Willingness to work during weekends.
• Applicants must possess full working rights within New Zealand.
