Position Summary
Les Mills International is seeking a seasoned React Native engineer to contribute to the evolution of our industry-leading LES MILLS services. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to influence the digital fitness experience for users worldwide by developing inspiring mobile products that promote healthier lifestyles.
About the Role
As a key member of our B2B Engineering team, you will be instrumental in designing and advancing mobile applications that support our gym and instructor platforms. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend and automation engineers, you will uphold high standards of quality and innovation. You'll have input on technical strategies and help establish enduring engineering practices to ensure the longevity and success of our apps.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record developing React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms in a commercial setting.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React Navigation, and the React Native framework ecosystem.
- Experience integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, and managing complex application state.
- Familiarity with native module development and the processes involved in mobile app deployment.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles including unit testing, code review practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling seamless collaboration across engineering, product management, and design teams.
- Knowledge of monitoring and backend technologies such as Datadog, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB is highly advantageous.
