Salesforce Developer

About the Role

Aarorn Technologies Inc is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their team in Toronto, ON. This is a contract position requiring onsite presence four days a week. The role offers a pay rate of CAD 55 per hour and demands a hands-on expert with over five years of experience in Salesforce development, including valid Salesforce Platform Developer certification.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Create custom applications leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce technologies.
• Tailor standard Salesforce features such as objects, workflows, validation rules, approval flows, and automated Flows.
• Develop and maintain integration interfaces using REST and SOAP APIs with external systems.
• Implement asynchronous processing utilizing Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex.
• Enhance performance and debug issues in production environments.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews ensuring compliance with Salesforce best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, admins, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.
• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and oversee deployment procedures.

Required Expertise

• A minimum of five years of practical Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced skills in Apex programming and Lightning Web Components development.
• Proficiency with Aura Components and Visualforce frameworks.
• Competence in querying using SOQL and SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows, process automation, and platform events.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP API integration techniques.
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing methods such as Batch Apex and Queueable Apex.
• Expertise in Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) including Git-based version control and CI/CD tools like Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.
• Good grasp of front-end web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Certifications

• Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Preferred: Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, and Salesforce JavaScript Developer I certifications.
