Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a JavaScript Frontend Developer supporting a client project from any location. The assignment centers on building and maintaining JavaScript-based applications that run smoothly, respond quickly, and scale well.
Compensation
The pay rate is between $30 and $90 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Create and support JavaScript applications using current frameworks and libraries.
- Produce code that is efficient, readable, and easy to maintain.
- Work closely with backend engineers to connect the user interface with server-side functionality.
- Improve application performance, including speed and scalability.
- Take part in code reviews and follow established software development practices.
Required qualifications
- Strong command of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Working knowledge of backend tools like Node.js and Express.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data exchange.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
