Key Responsibilities

• Manage critical human resources activities throughout the employee lifecycle within specified locations including Karachi.
• Oversee administration of HR processes and programs, supporting risk management to safeguard the firm and its members.
• Provide onboarding, continuous support during development, and offboarding services; manage lifecycle events and advise leadership on performance management.
• Serve as a primary contact for HR inquiries, conducting audits, analyses, and escalating issues appropriately.
• Lead HR initiatives such as role transitions, rotations, mobility, flexible work arrangements, and remote working programs.
• Handle personnel data management, policy interpretation, communication of HR standards, and participate in risk management activities.
• Contribute to broader duty of care programs and firm-wide projects including workplace safety, mental health initiatives, and grievance mechanisms.
• Partner with office leadership providing counsel on comprehensive HR matters, leading data analysis, and driving projects related to nationalization and other priorities.
• Maintain expertise in HR policies and compliance, collaborating with legal teams and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
• May recruit, train, and develop junior HR team members fostering an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate extensively with various internal departments including legal, immigration, payroll, talent management, recruiting, and professional development teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or related discipline.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in general HR functions.
• Proficient with HR and people management technologies such as SAP and People Central.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity positively.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Exercising excellent judgment, discretion, and professionalism in all HR activities.

Working Location and Team

The position is based in Karachi, within the Middle East Office region, and is part of the Human Resources Business Partner team supporting over 1,000 staff across eight Middle East offices. The role also involves close cooperation with the broader EEMA HR team and partnership with leadership across multiple functions.
