About the Role

Join a renowned U.S. law firm with an 18-year track record of legal excellence as a Case Manager Assistant in the Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Department. This role involves collaborating closely with Case Managers to advance cases promptly, manage insurance claims effectively, coordinate client medical care, and strive to secure the highest possible settlements for clients.

Key Duties

  • Initiate and manage insurance claims with relevant carriers, including health insurance subrogation units and state medical coverage authorities.
  • Request and track critical documents such as police reports, medical records, and billing statements.
  • Arrange medical appointments for clients, organize necessary transportation, and maintain consistent communication to update clients on case progress.
  • Reach out to medical providers to confirm and reconcile outstanding balances on accounts.
  • Prepare comprehensive case files for submission to demand writers.

Qualifications

  • Possess 1 to 2 years of practical experience as a Case Manager Assistant, Case Manager, or Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury field. Pure Intake Specialist experience does not qualify.
  • Hold or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Legal Studies, Healthcare, or related areas.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Demonstrate advanced to near-native proficiency in English; bilingual skills in Spanish are highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with case management platforms such as Litify or Salesforce is preferred.
