Job Overview
This role supports the management of on-site security encompassing employees, contractors, and collaborations with military or government bodies. It includes oversight of third-party security teams and coordination with department leaders to ensure a secure environment and compliance with local regulations and emergency protocols.
Key Duties
- Drive execution of innovative security strategies and business goals for the security team.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of external security providers.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure security procedure awareness among staff.
- Organize and conduct property patrols including boundaries, offices, storage, common spaces, and event areas to maintain safety.
- Serve as liaison with government and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Advise departments on security-related matters.
- Compile incident documentation and ensure thorough follow-up on issues.
- Deliver regular training sessions to elevate employee security knowledge.
- Assist with emergency management plans and handle responses to incidents such as medical emergencies, fire, bomb threats, or security breaches.
- Develop and implement security protocols for property and PPP operations, including systems related to access control and reporting.
- Assist in compliance monitoring of security policies with internal and external standards.
- Maintain up-to-date security lists, access documentation, and control gate pass processes for personnel and vehicles.
- Maintain effective relationships with military or government personnel onsite.
- Support security matters during events across all phases—pre-event, during, and post-event.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a university degree.
- Military experience is advantageous.
- Holders of SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and DPS (Department of Protective System) certifications are required.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years in a similar role, preferably within luxury hospitality environments or comparable organizational structures.
- Certifications in first aid, fire safety, and bomb threat management are essential.
- Fluent in Arabic language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
