Job description
Overview
This position focuses on maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure services for a leading airline company. The chosen professional will ensure that network systems and applications comply with corporate IT policies while maintaining reliability, security, high availability, and resiliency.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize comprehensive expertise with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and firewall security technologies, including architecture design, deployment, policy management, and ongoing operational support.
- Lead design, deployment, integration, and optimization of enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) and identity-based security services.
- Administer identity-driven network access and enforcement policies employing Cisco ISE, RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, and guest access mechanisms.
- Create and manage context-aware access policies using endpoint profiling, device characteristics, and dynamic authorization to enhance security and visibility.
- Oversee identity-based segmentation and access controls via RBAC, Security Group Tags (SGTs), and Cisco TrustSec to implement Zero Trust and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
- Support architecture integration and operations of Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, and wireless infrastructure for automated policy enforcement, micro-segmentation, and secure enterprise mobility.
- Manage and refine endpoint compliance and access control systems, including authentication, posture assessment, and automated remediation.
- Administer installation and maintenance of firewalls and VPN infrastructure, covering security policies, NAT, segmentation, remote and site-to-site VPN solutions aligned with business and security goals.
- Govern firewall policies by conducting assessments, rule tuning, policy auditing, and applying necessary changes compliant with security and operational standards.
- Perform sophisticated troubleshooting and root cause investigations on network outages, failures, and performance issues, applying corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and improve infrastructure and security measures supporting business strategies.
- Adhere to ITIL standards to ensure consistent IT service management processes across platforms, enhancing service quality and dependability.
- Provide 24/7 operations support and technical assistance regarding network and security incidents and perform administrative activities.
- Preferably possess CCNA and CCNP Security certifications.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in Computers, Communications, or Electronics.
- Between 5 and 7+ years of pertinent professional experience.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience managing enterprise network and security infrastructure.
