Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications, covering functionality, user interface and experience, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Develop, update, and execute test cases and scenarios based on product requirement documents.
- Conduct REST API testing utilizing tools such as Postman, and document reproducible defect reports clearly.
- Evaluate AI-powered product workflows, including testing for edge cases and atypical inputs.
- Collaborate closely with developers to replicate, prioritize, and confirm fixes until resolution.
- Engage in release testing activities and authorize new feature rollouts.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of experience in software or application testing, with strong consideration for recent graduates.
- Firm grasp of software development and testing life cycles, as well as defect management processes.
- Practical experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications; familiarity with API testing is advantageous.
- Some knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium or Playwright is a plus but is not compulsory.
- Excellent attention to detail, inquisitive mindset, and effective written communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous, and fast-paced startup environment.
