Shift Supervisor

Role overview

This position is for a concierge-style security officer in Alexandria, Louisiana, with a strong emphasis on supervision and customer interaction. The schedule is fixed at 40 hours per week: Friday to Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Monday to Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay is $22.00 per hour. DailyPay is available for employees.

Key duties

• Greet visitors, confirm identities, and direct them appropriately.
• Control entry and exit to the site.
• Carry out routine patrols to spot security concerns early.
• Check security systems and equipment, and report any repair or maintenance issues.
• React to incidents, give first aid when needed, and work with emergency responders.
• Respond to questions in person and over the phone.
• Prepare incident reports and pass along any security-related observations.
• Help protect people and property at the site.

Candidate profile

This opportunity is intended for applicants who are already authorized to work in the United States and can provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Prior supervision experience is required. The employer also expects candidates to successfully complete a detailed screening process. A state security license is required if applicable.

Strong customer service ability is essential, along with comfort using basic phone and computer tools. Experience in security, military service, or law enforcement is considered an added advantage.
