Role Overview

As a Retail Supervisor at Specsavers, you will play a crucial role in assisting store directors by overseeing retail operations, with a strong focus on supervising, coaching, and motivating staff to uphold high technical standards and deliver exceptional customer service. You'll support the management team in driving sales growth, controlling costs, and maximizing profits by utilizing key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the store's appearance and presentation to high standards, promptly addressing any issues.
• Continuously seek and implement commercial opportunities to improve the customer dispensing journey.
• Ensure all dispensing services comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the lab to provide customers with accurate information regarding their orders.
• Commit to ongoing personal development to enhance leadership skills in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate exemplary management to create a motivating, enjoyable workplace where staff feel valued and contribute effectively.
• Manage recruitment and ensure thorough induction of new dispensing staff.
• Organize regular team meetings and training to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Clarify team members' roles and expectations through frequent discussions, performance reviews, and goal setting.
• Ensure professional training aligns with current and future store needs while complying with relevant legislation.
• Strive to surpass individual and team performance targets.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for efficient store operations.
• Represent Specsavers positively at all times as a brand ambassador.
