Role overview

This opportunity is with a well-funded, early-stage stealth fintech startup in Dubai that is building an AI-driven, fully automated trading platform for real-world prediction markets. The product is similar in concept to prediction-market platforms, but is designed for a B2B use case. The company is newly established in Dubai and is assembling its team from the ground up, beginning with Python Engineers who will help shape the technical foundation of the business.

Requirements

• You should have at least 2 years of commercial Python experience.
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as Windsurf or Cursor is expected.
• You need a startup-oriented mindset and should be comfortable working in a zero-to-one environment.
• Practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform is required: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Commercial exposure in a quantitative or trading environment is preferred, though broader fintech experience is also acceptable.
• Candidates already based in the UAE are strongly preferred.

Additional information

The compensation mentioned for this role is AED 15,000 to AED 25,000 per month, depending on experience. The product is related to prediction markets and is not Sharia-compliant.

Work setup

This is a full-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid working arrangement.

Hiring note

The team is building from scratch and is looking for founding-style engineers who are excited to help create the product and technical direction from the beginning.
