Platform Engineer - Enterprise Application Integration (2-Year Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a central Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) team. This role focuses on supporting critical platforms that facilitate secure data exchange both internally and with external partners. It is a highly technical hands-on position involving platform migration, upgrades, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and maintaining system reliability across all environments including production and non-production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support migration, upgrade, configuration, and administration of Enterprise Application Integration platforms.
• Manage and resolve issues related to integration platforms such as file transfer solutions and API gateways across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot technical problems to maintain high availability and stability.
• Ensure compliance of platform configurations with IT security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Perform maintenance, patching, and operational support for enterprise integration platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and project teams to ensure smooth platform operations.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing platform performance and dependability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting enterprise integration platforms, middleware, API gateways, or file transfer solutions.
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages relevant for backend application support and automation.
• Experienced in platform administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Knowledge of integration middleware technologies, IT operational processes, or operations monitoring (OpsMon) tools is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AWS services setup and management is a plus.
• Understanding of ICT security and compliance frameworks such as IM8 or equivalents is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
