Project Overview
The WMPC Core division delivers essential Core Banking functions across various Wealth Management (WM) International sites, focusing on integration and unifying capabilities across these locations. Their aim is to develop a modular and capability-driven platform strategy supporting Core Banking services. As part of the WMPC Core Technology team, depending on eligibility and role suitability, you will collaborate in crafting tailored solutions addressing distinct business and market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and React technologies.
- Create microservices and develop Kafka-based event-driven architectures.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication.
- Leverage Azure cloud services alongside containerization tools and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage actively in Agile workflows and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Address production-level issues promptly to guarantee system stability and performance.
Essential Qualifications
- Between 10 to 15 years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Proficient with Spring Boot framework, microservices architectures, and Kafka messaging systems.
- Strong front-end skills including ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud platform, container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, version control systems such as Git, and experience with continuous integration/delivery processes.
- Database experience involving both SQL and NoSQL systems and API integration expertise.
- Well-versed in Agile software development and DevOps methodologies.
Desirable Skills - AI-Assisted Development
- Experience or familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as GitLab Copilot or IDE-integrated copilots.
- Ability to use generative AI for enhancing code suggestions, automated unit test generation, debugging assistance, and documentation.
- A keen interest in integrating AI technologies to boost development productivity and facilitate learning.
